Queen Anne's Lace is an 8 x 8 pastel on UArt paper.  Many people view this flower as a weed as it grows rampantly in meadows and along roadsides.  But I love it and like to incorporate it in bouquets from my garden for a light, airy look.

WATERCOLOR~ SUNFLOWER DUO

 

"Sunflower Duo" is an impressionistic watercolor of sunflowers grown in my own yard!  This piece is 9.5" high and 7.5" wide, painted on 140# Arches watercolor paper. It was so much fun to see these grow, and they withstood one very windy storm!  

Dune Path

It's later in the afternoon at the beach and the light is warm on the path through the dunes.  From the top you can see the sailboats getting in their last sail for the day.  A serene scene.  Pastel, 9 x 11", done on pastel mat.  Available through my Etsy Shop or DailyPaintworks.

Yellow Barn

This pastel painting depicts a barn in a nearby town set on a hill, surrounded by fields.  The afternoon sun is falling on the front of the barn and the field dotted with lovely yellow flowers.  I'd like to take a walk here!
