Autumn Apples

Autumn in New England is just the best!  Apples, pumpkins, mums, gorgeous leaves!  It's a great time to celebrate the beauty around us.  This 8 x 10 oil is of apples ripe for the picking in the autumn sun.  Hope this makes you want to go out and buy some beautiful apples!

"White Egret" is a watercolor painting done on Arches 140# watercolor paper.  It depicts a white egret "fishing" in the marsh area of a shoreline town.  He is outlined by the dark reflections of the dense grasses and shoreline rocks.  The image is 8 x 13.25" and is matted to 14 x 19.25" with a white double mat.  The painting is done with a layering technique in transparent watercolor.

Summer Window

"Summer Window" is an oil on panel depicting a bounty of flowers against the backdrop of a cottage window.  It is 8 x 10" and is ready for framing or decorating a shelf on a simple easel.  Hope you enjoy the profusion of flowers!
