There is a beautiful Audubon Society site in Maine where the photo for this painting was originally taken. The sky was quite overcast, but the area just above the horizon was filled with warm light which was spreading across the field. This little pastel piece, 4.25 x 5.75" is matted to 8 x 10" and ready for a frame.

The painting is done in a loose style with transparent watercolors. The frame is a warm silver and is about 7/8" wide.

4 x 6" in size, matted and framed to 12" x 14 1/4". It is double
matted with acid free white and red mats, and framed in a 2" wide warm
silver frame with reddish accents. It will not come with the reflection
in the glass of me taking the picture!
