Maine Fishing Shack

I wish I could remember the exact town in Maine where I snapped this photo, but it was a lovely area with the afternoon sun slanting across the landscape.  I was taken with this little fishing building, with the boats pulled in for the day.  This watercolor painting is 8.5" high by 11.5" wide, done on 140# Arches watercolor paper.  Hope you enjoy it and think about our warmer weather to come.

Onion and Garlic - January Studio Sale

Onions and garlic--a great duo.  This little watercolor done on Arches watercolor paper is from a still life setup in my studio.  I liked the papery feel of the garlic and the translucent area of reflected light on the bottom right of the onion.  It measures 6.25" wide x 4" high. It's part of my January Studio Sale.   Hope you enjoy it.
